New Year!

Okay, so I am a little late getting around to my new year's changes to the old blog. So sue me!!

I am finally here, though, and I hope I can keep up with a regular posting.

I thought about leaving my list of books read last year and just adding to them, but I decided that might get a little cumbersome. Besides, I love new beginnings. There is nothing like a new journal or even a fresh page in an old journal to make me happy. Likewise, a new blog page.

What other "new" things do I like? New books! Yeah! New recipes, new pens, new socks, new knitting patterns, the beginning of a new month, new calendars, a fresh new package of note cards, new tote bags, a new quote I've never heard, a new poem I've never read, a new word, discovering a new author and knowing that there are many more books out there by this same author just waiting to be read.

I could go on and on; and I will add one more thing if you promise not to laugh...new puppies!
