This has been a very nice weekend. Erin spent the day with us on Saturday and helped me put the pantry back together. Lindsey did a good job repairing the water damage but that meant everything was on the dining room table. In the evening, we got takeout from Harper's and watched "Sherlock Holmes" with Robert Downey, Jr and Jude Law. Neither of these guys are among my favorite actors, but the movie was pretty good. I admit I fell asleep a couple of times, but that is what I do these days and it should not be considered a reflection on the movie. :)
On Sunday, we slept late and I knitted during the morning, then Erin and I went to the grocery store to shop for Thanksgiving. I took her home, then went straight home myself. I tried a new recipe for dinner, Cauliflower Linguine, which was pretty good. I made salmon cakes to go with it, always a good choice. I don't know that I would make it again, but it was worth a try.
Work tomorrow, but only for two days, then we are off for the holiday!!! Five entire days without having to go to school...heaven!
