School's out for summer!

So, school is finally out and most of the teachers finished their classrooms and signed out today. We may have a few in and out for the rest of this week, but "it is all over but the shoutin'", as they say!!

I have to finish all my year-end reports and my year-end audit is next Monday, but I will soon be able to breathe and take things a little easier for a few weeks. I really enjoy setting up my new files for next year: cleaning out and throwing away all the detritus of the past year and getting ready for the new year to come.

Nothing has changed as far as Lindsey's employment is concerned. The job market is really slow and employers are prejudiced against older workers. I know the law says they can't discriminate due to age, but that is almost impossible to prove. Hopefully, his unemployment will kick in soon. I know he doesn't want to get that assistance, but we have to have some money coming in from somewhere besides my salary....it is simply not enough to cover all the debt we incurred while he was employed.
