Lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer

Okay, I am lazy!! I admit it. I have done absolutely nothing today except read. It was "fabulous" to use a favorite word of one of my favorite people.

The book was Still Summer by Jacquelyn Mitchard which Mrs. Monroe (AL teacher at Frazier) loaned me. It was about four women, friends from childhood, who go on a Caribbean cruise as a way of renewing old friendships after the death of one of their husbands.

What ensues is a trip from hell complete with drug runners, bad weather, secrets revealed, moonlight trysts, jealousy and even death. It was very good. Perfect for a lazy summer day.
