Father's Day - June 15, 2008

We all had a great time at Sandy and Chip's house on Father's Day. The food was good (as usual) and the company was even better. We had hamburgers, hot dogs and all the fixings.

It was nice to see everybody. This is the first time we have been together since Christmas. Those who weren't able to come were truly missed and we hope to see them next time.

Everybody got to meet Sandy's new baby, Corky, and Corky got acquainted with Jazzi, Erin and Matt's dog. They had a great time playing hide and seek under the couch. I'm not sure either one of them knew what to make of the other.

I am sending pictures for everyone to see. I got a couple of good shots and Nita and Erin helped me get some more. Thanks, ladies.

If you have any news you want to put on the blog, let me know or just comment. This might be a good way for us to keep up with each other since we all lead such busy lives. For instance, Erin and Matt may be moving back toward Greensboro this summer. Matt has been offered a job at Jordan High School in Durham and he also interviewed at Grimsley H.S. here in Greensboro. So they will at least come as close as Durham, if not all the way back home. Erin is waiting to see where Matt gets a job before she starts interviewing although she has already started making contacts. We are very excited at the prospect of having them closer to home.

Stay safe. We love you all!

Marsha
